The goal of this project was to re-design an effective eLearning module to be used within Ithaca College's Career Pursuit course.
Students enrolled in Career Pursuit will benefit from undergoing the new and improved module for the ethics portion of this course. This project was authorized by our professor of eLearning, Dennis Charsky. The previous Ethics Module received negative feedback from students, and our goal was to make it more engaging overall to improve students’ retention. This project displays all of the steps taken to create an effective and engaging eLearning module.
This project applies methods, theories, and practices from both Ithaca College’s Instructional Design and eLearning courses. The program used to create the final product is Adobe Captivate. The project activities are structured based on the ADDIE model.
I worked with 2 peers to develop an online learning module that is fully functional and ready to be used in a real instructional situation.
